Students learn the foundational principles of tonal musical analysis while referencing appropriate analytical tools and techniques. In performing various individual and group repertoire with technical skill and with accurate, period-relevant, stylistic interpretation, they learn to lead and engage listeners through their attitude toward the preparation and presentation of their work. Participation in choir requires several after-school performances and concerts throughout the school year.
