Additional Doctrinal Commitment
Veritas Academy also affirms the following, based on a Protestant and Reformed view of the Christian faith:
- We believe that the sixty-six books of the Holy Bible are the only inerrant, written Word of God and therefore, our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- We believe that fallen humans can only be saved by the grace of God, on the basis of the work of Jesus Christ alone, through faith alone, for the glory of God alone.
- We believe that God created the universe out of nothing and that mankind is a special creation of God made in God’s image. God created the two historical persons, Adam as a male and Eve as a female and brought them into the covenant of marital union. Therefore, we affirm that gender differences, marriage, and sexual intimacy between a man and a woman is the God-designed, created order.
