Phoenix
this last week. The meeting went well. Some, I have heard, were worried about changes in ACCS. Sorry, to put some of you ill at ease. The changes being contemplated are good ones—ones driven by . . . .
growth and expansion in classical Christian education. In fifteen years, the Association has grown from roughly 20 schools to 220 schools representing over 30,000 students across the country and around the world. We have decided to expand ACCS’ administrative staff and add an office in the Eastern or Central time zone. We believe that this will spur even greater growth in classical Christian education. We will still keep our offices in
Moscow
,
Idaho
and our current staff, but this new office will add to and complement our current set of skills and abilities. We also took up the question of expanding the income streams for the association. Our Executive Director, Patch Blakey, will be looking into various paths to set our association on a firm financial footing with more stable income streams, so our service to our schools can grow and expand as the association and its needs grow and expand. Finally, we looked forward to this summer’s ACCS conference in
Atlanta
. I am proud to announce that Chuck Colson will be one of the plenary speakers at this year’s conference. For a little preview of Colson’s thoughts on classical Christian education read the following:

Thanks again for your prayers and continue to pray that we find the right leader and right place for this new office.
