The ExtraOrdinary Give takes place on Friday, November 19, 2021! It's 24-hour period in which donations received through ExtraGive.org will be stretched and matched to go further than ever, and it's Veritas Academy's ONLY major fundraiser!
Last year, our community blew us away by raising over $110,000 in the 2020 ExtraOrdinary Give. These donations helped to put our school in a great place financially when it came time to purchase our building in the spring!
With more students than ever, a new building in our possession, and plenty of big plans for the future, we're challenging the Veritas community to reach our biggest ExtraGive goal yet.
We're looking to nearly double our donations from last year - and show up on the ExtraOrdinary Give Leaderboard! And for good reason; there's a whole lot on the horizon for Veritas Academy.
Coming off the heels of the biggest purchase in our school's history (our own facility!), plus a comprehensive HVAC installation to help make our school comfortable and healthy, we are steadily planning and executing more necessary improvements to serve our higher-than-ever enrollment (see more info on our official ExtraGive page here). Plus, we continue our commitment to providing financial aid to those families who need it, which more than half of our families currently receive.

Your family has a HUGE part to play in making this year's ExtraOrdinary Give a success for Veritas Academy and help us earn much-needed funds to improve our facility, provide financial aid funds, and more! We're asking you to ask your friends and family to donate on November 19!
Now it's time to set up your family's personal ExtraGive fundraising page so that you can more easily share this giving opportunity with your friends and family! It takes a few steps and a few minutes, but it will go far in helping our school reach our $200,000 goal and helping your contacts feel inspired to "Give Extra!"

Next, take a little bit of time as a family and think of people you can ask to contribute to Veritas during the ExtraGive. Contact them (either by phone, email, text, or sharing your giving page) asking them if they would be willing to commit to a donation of $10 or more on November 19. Fill out their names on the pledge form (link below) for a reward! For any family who turns in a pledge form with at least 10 names and email addresses or phone numbers on it by November 11 , each student in that family will receive a donut from Duck Donuts on Friday November 12.
Take a photo of your pledge sheet and email it to extragive@veritasacademy.com for your reward. Only 1 pledge form per family is needed.

Extra Recess...with extra perks (like bounce houses and more!)
Houses that reach goal by noon: Fun afternoon (no classes) from 1:30 - end of day. Activities planned with inflatables, games, and more.
Top earning houses and classes at noon:
Sundae party at 1:30 pm for top earning K-3 class, top earning 4th-6th class, and top earning House. Classes/Houses must reach their goal to qualify. |
