Parent Volunteers

Volunteer help is essential for the success of Veritas Academy, and there are many opportunities available.

Many volunteers are needed for the major events during the school year. Please contact Tara Spanjer at tspanjer@veritasacademy.com if you want to help with an event.

According to Act 153, as of July 1, 2015 the following clearances are required for school volunteers:

• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal Background Check - PA Dept. of Education (if you have not lived in PA for at least the last 10 years)
• Volunteer Disclosure Statement (if you have lived in PA for at least the last 10 years)
