Chess Club is an opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to develop their mastery of this most ancient and classic of strategy games.
Chess is not only a game or pastime, but it is a part of our cultural heritage, a sport, and a training of the mind. This club will provide instruction, strategies, and rules for players of all levels and abilities. All are welcome! See you on the boards!

This registration is only for students interested in our club for grades 2-6. Students in grades 7 and up who are interested in chess should contact Mr. Daughtrey about participating in the chess team, which meets on Wednesdays starting after Christmas break and involves competition with other schools.

Chess Club is historically a very popular activity among Veritas students, and we have limited spots available. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the club is full, so don't delay and register quickly!
